Razcahl the Vampire is a comic strip about an undead hematophagous adolescent, aka a bloodsucking teenage vampire. He lurks in and wanders through a world full of monsters, mummies, and even a highly intelligent troglodyte (he’s a caveman, but we like to use fancy words every now and then). And let’s not forget his best friend the angel Angie. They’re each other’s wingmen. Wingwomen. Wingpersons. They have wings. That’s it. They both have wings.
Razcahl sees himself as an amazing nocturnal creature. He just might be. We all start at zero. And Razcahl is no exception. But eventually some will rise to the level of hero. The path to such fame is paved with puns. Lots of them. Too many. Dead jokes. Wordplay and pop-culture.
Therefore we want to take baby steps, so you don’t get overloaded all at once. Hence this small press publication. It’s a very exclusive Limited Edition, so you know that in 20 years time it will be worth... Well, still not much. But you will feel good about it. We hope. No promises…
Razcahl the Vampire is made by Dinie de Zeeuw and David den Ouden. We live at undisclosed locations in The Netherlands (to better hide from vindictive vampires). Razcahl is our blood and it gives us much joy to collaborate and create new comics together weekly.
